Killer Instinct has developed a specialist service which can be tailored to your bespoke requirements and site’s needs, whilst being kind to your budgets and discreet at all times. We have developed a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programme for all areas and environments within your nursery school, college, or university grounds, providing your site with the highest level of protection in any circumstances, guaranteed.

Cost

We recognise the fragility of school budgets, that as much as possible should be channelled towards the children’s facilities and that the extra pounds add up, so we ensure that our costs are as competitive as possible, whilst ensuring that the job that we do for you is thorough and comprehensive. Our technicians are all trained to RSPH Level 2 and are trained in preventive measures as meticulously as treatments, and are always proactive in pre-empting any problems arising and advising their point of contact as to what can be done to stop this. Your site will be worked through systematically on each visit, to ensure that nothing is ever missed, whilst all proofing and maintenance work will be discussed, recommended and quoted before anything is conducted, so that you can choose if you want to go ahead with the work.

Multi pest contracts that offer safe, humane and consistent solutions are available and cover anything you could experience over the course of the year, whether it be rodents, wasps, cluster flies or moles to ensure you know where you are with your budget throughout each year. We can also service your fly killers in your kitchens, offer wasp trap services if needed during the summer, as well as installing fly screens. Our technicians are all fully trained in feral bird control as well and are on hand to advise how they can help you to combat any problem.

Record Keeping

Our technicians will keep a record folder containing a precise paper trail on your site at all times, that will contain all details that the EHO should wish to see should they pop in at any time. It is solely your technician’s job to maintain this record, ensuring bait box maps, chemical details and risk assessments are all detailed thoroughly, to ensure you have no further worries here either. We are also very happy to pop in during any Ofsted visits or accompany any official visits that you would like us to assist with.

Security

We understand the importance of security at our children’s schools and the peace of mind a designated technician can bring. Therefore all of our schools are allocated a professional and friendly DBS checked principal technician, dedicated to your account to assist with continuity with communication and a thorough understanding of the site and its needs.

You will also be allocated one relief technician to cover annual leave and in the unlikely incident of any sickness, who will only be allowed to attend your site, once having shadowed the principal technician on at least one occasion and been introduced to all key staff.

Furthermore, your technician will agree a particular time and date with you, and you will always be serviced within that allocated appointment time to ensure that you know exactly when to expect them, further enhancing strong communication. Gone are the days when you don’t know when your pest controller is next popping by!

Our school contracts are always prioritised so if you need to call us for an additional visit outside of our scheduled visits, your technician would be with you within 24 hours at a time convenient to your team.
