Well it seems the holiday season is nearly over for most of us BUT not for the Rats in Scotland apparently.
I read an article this week about Rats the size of Chihuahua’s (yes I did have to spell check that word) are terrorising a neighbourhood in Glasgow.
Apparently the work-shy holiday Rats are now so large that the refuse collectors are now unsafe when trying to collect he rubbish from Earl Street in Glasgow.
Not only are the Rats now dog sized but apparently they are picking fights with the local seagull population, an apparent war of the pests.
The vermin population has been steadily growing within the city by a recorded 31% from 2021 to 2022 and this year it has hit its peak with now some staff on the Glasgow cleansing team now being hospitalised after receiving painful Rat bites while carrying out their work.
I guess the part of the article I found amusing is the rats now “happily” using the Childrens slide, I wonder if they’ll let the gulls have a turn?
